Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Maktoum is an Emirati showjumper who has been riding competitively since the age of fourteen. Amongst many other accolades, Sheikh Rashid competed in the 2010 Asian Games for the United Arab Emirates aged eighteen, winning team silver in the show jumping with his horse Dubai's Pride. He currently has an impressive string of showjumpers and competes in Europe throughout the summer season and the GCC in the winter. Sheikh Rashid is also the founder of DXB Horses, a prestigious breeding programme and competition stable of elite show jumpers and dressage horses producing Olympic-quality prospects for the UAE.
